Maryland Recyclers Coalition Joins Elite Circle

This new electronic newsletter of the Maryland Recycler’s Coalition was launched in February 2004 to replace a bi-annual print newsletter. The electronic version of The Voice has been well received by members and has been published three times in 2004 with winter, spring and fall issues.

The electronic newsletter publication turn around time is much faster than the print version and there has been a large cost savings in publishing and distribution since the format changed to an electronic one. All members receive an email with the HTML version of the newsletter and it is archived on the MRC web site, www.marylandrecyclers.org.

“MRC is honored to receive the Circle of Excellence award, which highlights associations for the execution and impact of their programs, “ says Jackie King, Executive Director. “The award further validates our efforts to communicate with our members in a timely and more cost-effective fashion.”

MRC was honored at a special luncheon Wednesday, December 15 in Baltimore, Md.
