Join MRC for Our First Ever Joint Conference with SWANA's Mid-Atlantic Chapter

The first-ever joint conference, with MRC and SWANA’s Mid-Atlantic Chapter will be held Wednesday, June 8 and Thursday, June 9 at the The Community College of Baltimore County, Catonsville Campus, in Catonsville, Maryland. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to learn and train about important issues in today’s recycling and waste management field, as well as network with other professionals in the industry.

Since it is a joint conference with SWANA, attendees can earn up to 10 CEUs toward SWANA recertification. Just a few of the many interesting sessions/trainings being held during the two days are Exploring the Outer Edges of Diversion (a panel session), Mercury-Containing Lamp Recycling Workshop: An Implementation Guide for Solid Waste Managers, and Hoot & Holler, an open session that will discuss current hauler issues. Also, just like in past years, the conference will also have its Reception and Networking Dinner at the Rolling Road Country Club (advance ticket purchase required), and its Bull Roast on the close of the second day (included in your registration price).

We are still in need of sponsors and exhibitors! You can choose to sponsor an event at the conference or donate money and become a Marquee, Gold, Silver, or Bronze Sponsor. All sponsors will receive recognition in the on-site program brochure and a sign at the conference. The top level sponsor, a Marquee Sponsor, will receive recognition on the front panel of the conference program (reserved for marquee and gold sponsors only), a sign at the registration desk, recognition on directional signs to classrooms, a complimentary booth in the exhibit hall, a complimentary full-page advertisement in the conference program, a complimentary advertisement in MRC’s e-newsletter, The Voice, two complimentary registrations to the conference, and two complimentary tickets to the Reception and Networking Dinner. Exhibitors at the conference will receive two complimentary registrations to the conference, a six-foot tabletop to display your information, and an opportunity to reach an audience of key recycling and waste prevention players in Maryland.
